PRODUCER Dinusha Ratnaweera


After graduating in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts (Communications) and following up with Producing and Production Management studies at Sydney’s Metroscreen Film School, Dinusha’s first taste of feature film production was as a Producer’s Attachment on Razzle Dazzle: A Journey Into Dance released in theatres in 2006.

Dinusha then went on to produce Lullaby (2008) a short film funded through Screen NSW’s Emerging Filmmakers Fund (Round 18) which screened in Official Competition at St Kilda Film Festival and the Clermont-Ferrand Film Festival.

In 2013, he collaborated with director Tony Prescott to co-produce Legacy: A Ride to Conquer Motor Neurone Disease (2014), a feature length documentary about Motor Neurone Disease.

Their second collaboration The Pretend One was completed in 2017.
